Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has been brought to the Islamabad High Court from Police Lines Guest House with tight security for the hearing of his bail application in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
A new two-member division bench, comprising of Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb and Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, has been formed to hear the plea for his bail in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
Imran Khan was taken to the court room number 2, while the room requested by the PTI Chairman was found to be smaller. Security officials have not yet been able to take Imran Khan inside the courtroom.
The courtroom has a capacity of only 20 people, but more than 100 people are present in the court.
Due to Imran Khan’s appearance at the Islamabad High Court, strict security measures have been taken around the court. The back gate of the Islamabad High Court has been sealed and there are extremely strict security measures at the two entrances.
