Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has stated that we had proposed negotiations with Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan.
During a media conversation, he expressed his views on the current national situation, saying that as long as the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) exists, the country cannot progress. Show mercy on this nation and shut down the institution of NAB.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi emphasized that the military establishment, judiciary, and parliament should function according to the constitution. Only when all institutions work responsibly, the country will progress. Everyone should fulfill their responsibilities.
A leader of the League stated that only politicians are appearing in courts, and false cases are being presented. If the jurisdiction of military courts is extended, then cases should be pursued.
In response to a question, he said that it is everyone’s right to form political parties, and he has no contact with anyone. If relief is provided to the people, the country will progress. Relief should be given to the people.
It should be noted that previously, former Finance Minister Miftah Ismail had stated in his statement that if Shahid Khaqan Abbasi leaves the Muslim League (N) and joins another party, he will be with them.
