There is still a possibility of light and heavy rainfall in various cities of Pakistan today. In the upper regions of the country, there may be rain along with hail.
According to the Meteorological Department, rainfall is expected in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeastern Balochistan, upper Sindh, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The Meteorological Department states that thunderstorms can also occur along with rainfall in the northern regions of the country.
It is evident that yesterday there was heavy rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms in Punjab’s regions, including Chiniot, Sahiwal, Arifwala, and Ali Pur, among other districts.
The heavy rainfall in the regions of Punjab has relieved the intensity of the heat; however, the storms and hail have caused damage to crops.
