Islamabad: The District and Session Court has sentenced the Chairman of PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) in the Toshakhana case to three years in prison and imposed a fine of one lakh rupees.
According to the details, the District and Sessions Court heard the Tosha Khana criminal proceedings case, Judge Humayun Dilawar gave a safe verdict in the Tosha Khana case.

In the Toshakhana case, the Session Court sentenced the Chairman of PTI to three years in prison and imposed a fine of one lakh rupees.
The Session Court stated in the verdict that the Chairman of PTI was found guilty of corrupt practices, and if the fine is not paid, an additional 6-month sentence will be given.
The court directed the Inspector General of Islamabad Police to implement the court’s order, stating that the accused deliberately provided false information to the Election Commission.

Earlier in the hearing, election commission lawyers Amjad Pervez, Saad Hasan appeared in the court, no lawyer appeared on behalf of Chairman PTI.
In a recent court hearing, Justice Humayun Dilawar stated that the prosecution has presented multiple witnesses, but there has been no testimony from the accused so far. At this point, Amjad Parvez addressed the court and asked if he should say something. In response, Justice Humayun Dilawar humorously suggested that he could recite a poem instead.
Amjad Parvez then recited a poem in the court, expressing his emotions about the situation, saying that it was as if no one had touched his lips for centuries until the tears from his eyes overwhelmed him during the conversation. To this, Justice Humayun Dilawar responded by granting more time to fulfill the demands of justice.
Following the poem recitation, the court session was adjourned until 10:30 AM. Later, when the proceedings resumed, Junior Counsel PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) Khalid Yousaf requested more time for Khawaja Haris, who was in the NAB (National Accountability Bureau) court.
Judge Humayun Dilawar inquired that where are the accused? So lawyer Khalid Yusuf Chaudhry said that Khawaja Haris will tell the court about the accused.
The judge said that he said that Khawaja Haris is busy in the NAB court. Is he busy? Then lawyer Khalid Yusuf said that Khawaja Haris is giving arguments on bail applications.
During the hearing, the lawyer Election Commission told the court that he had taken time in the NAB court for 2:30, on which the lawyer Khalid Yusuf said that Khawaja Haris will come free from the NAB court.
Justice Humayun Daulatwar remarked that if late-night sessions were allowed, what would happen next. The court had initially scheduled the session for 8:30 AM, but it had already passed 10:00 AM.
The court directed the lead counsel to ensure the presence of all parties at 12:00 PM for the final verdict, which would be announced later. Subsequently, the court reserved the decision and announced that it would be delivered at 12:00 PM.
