PCB has announced the National Selection Committee. PCB has also announced the Junior Selection Committee which has been made the head of Kamran Akmal.
Chairman Najam Sethi said that Shahid Afridi had expressed his unavailability for these meetings during the first meeting of the management committee held in Lahore in December, later Sana Mir and Arif Saeed also gave the same excuse.
PCB has also announced the Junior Selection Committee which has been made the head of Kamran Akmal. The junior committee includes Shahid Nazir, Shoaib Khan, Taseef Ahmed and Arshad Khan.
It may be noted that Shahid Afridi was appointed as the chairman of the interim selection committee for the home series against New Zealand on December 24 last year, which included Abdul Razzaq, Rao Iftikhar Anjum and Haroon Rashid as conveners.
