Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal met with Saudi Minister of Health Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel to discuss a broad range of issues of mutual interest, with a particular focus on expanding collaboration in the health sector. The meeting is being viewed as an important step in further strengthening the longstanding and historic ties between the two nations.
During the meeting, the Federal Minister emphasized that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share deep-rooted cultural and religious bonds and that the people of both countries hold a strong sense of mutual connection. He reiterated Pakistan’s desire to further enhance cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the health sector to provide better healthcare facilities to its citizens.
Both health ministers agreed to deepen cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector and explored the vast potential for Saudi investment in Pakistan’s health infrastructure. They highlighted that enhanced collaboration can help improve healthcare standards and enable better access to modern medical services.
Mustafa Kamal stated that the health sector remains one of the top priorities of the Government of Pakistan, adding that Pakistan is eager to benefit from Saudi Arabia’s experience and expertise to strengthen its healthcare system on modern lines.
Saudi Health Minister Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel appreciated Mustafa Kamal’s efforts and contributions to the health sector.
