Federal Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has once again invited Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for negotiations, saying that if the party is genuinely interested in resolving political issues, it must come forward with concrete and serious proposals.
Speaking during a discussion on the program Capital Talk, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that a session of the National Assembly is scheduled for January 12, and if PTI wants negotiations, it should approach the Speaker’s office with serious proposals to formally initiate dialogue.
The federal minister said he is also willing to hold talks with senior and former PTI leaders, including Fawad Chaudhry and Imran Ismail, but emphasized that those engaging in negotiations must have a clear mandate from the party to avoid confusion or internal disputes.
He said that Imran Khan has delegated political authority to Mahmood Khan Achakzai, while at the same time Aleema Khan has stated that anyone who talks about negotiations will have no link with PTI, highlighting contradictions within the party’s stance.
On this occasion, PTI leader Meena Khan Afridi said that party founder Imran Khan has given negotiation authority to Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, adding that if the government is serious, it should engage in talks with them.
