A total lunar eclipse will occur on March 3 and will be visible in various countries including Pakistan. According to experts, this significant astronomical event will take place when the Moon moves into the Earth’s shadow.
The Meteorological Department stated that the eclipse will begin at 1:44 pm Pakistan time and will end completely at 7:23 pm. During this period, the Moon’s brightness will gradually diminish through different phases.
According to officials, the eclipse will reach its peak at 4:34 pm, when the Moon will be fully covered by the Earth’s shadow and may appear reddish in color.
The department further stated that the lunar eclipse will also be visible in Asia, Australia, North and South America, and other parts of the world. However, in Pakistan, due to daylight hours, it may only be partially visible in certain areas.
