Karachi: Good news has come for the citizens of Karachi, after the intervention of the Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh, AG Sindh has released funds for the buses stuck at Karachi Port.
Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Maqbool Baqir says that after the transfer of funds, the Transport Department is bound to pay the customs duties.
Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh directed the transport department to release the buses by making all the payments within a week.
The transport department released the buses as soon as possible and brought them on the roads for public relief.
The Sindh Chief Minister further said that circular railway is the solution for transport, It is possible with the functioning of all BRT lines, He said that he will contact the federal government soon for the approval of the BRT redline.
