In Lahore, the price of chicken meat has decreased, while the administration has also set new rates for vegetables and fruits.
The price of broiler chicken meat has decreased by Rs. 15 per kilogram, bringing the new price to Rs. 455 per kilogram. The wholesale rate for live broiler chicken has been set at Rs. 302 per kilogram, and for chicken pullets at Rs. 314 per kilogram.
There has been an increase of Rs. 3 per dozen in the price of farm eggs, with the new price rising from Rs. 247 to Rs. 250 per dozen.
The Lahore administration has issued official rates for vegetables and fruits as follows: onions at Rs. 110 per kilogram, potatoes at Rs. 80 per kilogram, tomatoes at Rs. 80 per kilogram, green chilies at Rs. 110 per kilogram.
Additionally, ginger is priced at Rs. 640 per kilogram, local garlic at Rs. 280 per kilogram, farm cucumbers at Rs. 55 per kilogram, fenugreek at Rs. 110, eggplant at Rs. 50 per kilogram, cauliflower at Rs. 120 per kilogram, and turnips at Rs. 70 per kilogram.
Furthermore, bell peppers are priced at Rs. 170 per kilogram, local lemons at Rs. 360 per kilogram, peas at Rs. 220 per kilogram, bottle gourd at Rs. 50 per kilogram, Chinese carrots at Rs. 60 per kilogram, and bitter gourd at Rs. 60 per kilogram.
Black kale apples are available at Rs. 340 per kilogram, pears at Rs. 170 per kilogram, apricots at Rs. 220 per kilogram, guava at Rs. 230 per kilogram, watermelon at Rs. 40 per kilogram, Iranian dates at Rs. 470 per kilogram, Sindhri mangoes at Rs. 160 each, second variety mangoes at Rs. 160 per kilogram, and first-grade bananas at Rs. 140 per dozen.
