Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir visited Warminster and Lark Hill Garrison in the United Kingdom at the invitation of British Army Chief General Roland Walker.
According to ISPR, Army Chief General Asim Munir was given a detailed briefing on the modernization plans of the British Army and the Deep Rec Strike Brigade.
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir also observed modern technologies including artificial intelligence and pilotless systems.
Army Chief General Asim Munir’s Unprecedented Welcome to the United Kingdom
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir arrived in the United Kingdom on February 19 on his most important visit. The purpose of the visit was to participate in the 7th Regional Stability Conference at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and to deliver a keynote address on “Emerging World Order and the Outlook for Pakistan’s Future.”
At the commencement of the visit, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir was warmly and dignifiedly received. The Army Chief was presented with the Guard of Honour at the historic Royal Horse Guards Parade Ground.
It is noteworthy that the Stability Conference serves as an important platform for the Army-to-Army dialogue between Pakistan and the United Kingdom. This conference is held annually to promote cooperation, bringing together policymakers, civilians, military personnel, and representatives from prominent think tanks of both countries.
