Lahore: Following the closure of the Attari border by India, Pakistan has kept the Wagah border open, raising the possibility of Pakistani nationals stranded in India returning home today.
According to sources, the Wagah border remains operational, and the return of Pakistani citizens currently in India is expected today. Officials stated that the Indian government has given Pakistani nationals with general visas a deadline of May 1 to leave the country.
Similarly, Pakistani citizens holding SAARC visas have been given a 48-hour deadline, and their return is also expected today.
In light of the current situation, immigration and security agencies at the Wagah border are fully active. On the other hand, there is also a possibility of Indian nationals in Pakistan returning to India.
