A strong upward trend continued for the second consecutive day in the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Wednesday, marking another historic milestone in the market’s performance.
The trading day began positively as the KSE-100 Index surged by 704 points, reaching a new peak and setting a fresh record at 128,904 points.
It is worth noting that on the previous day, Tuesday, the stock market also experienced significant gains due to renewed investor confidence. The index not only surpassed 127,000 but also crossed the 128,000 and 129,000 levels, clearly indicating the financial market’s strength.
Today, further improvement was seen during trading hours, with an impressive gain of 1,387 points recorded in the index, pushing it up to a new all-time high of 129,587 points.
It is also notable that on Tuesday, the market recorded an extraordinary surge of 2,572 points in total, closing the KSE-100 Index at 128,199 points, which at the time was the highest closing level ever.
