Pakistan’s women’s squad for the Ireland tour has been announced, with Fatima Sana set to captain the team in the three T20 matches against Ireland.
The 15-member squad was selected by the Women’s National Selection Committee from a group of 24 players who participated in the skills camp.
Before departing for Ireland, the team will attend a pre-series camp in Karachi. The series against Ireland will be held in Dublin from August 6 to 10.
The national squad includes Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, Imaan Fatima, Gull Feroza, Muneeba Ali, and Najiyah Alvi (wicketkeeper).
Additionally, Nashra Sandhu, Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadaf Shamas, Sadia Iqbal, Sidra Ameen, Tuba Hassan, and Waheeda Akhtar are also part of the 15-member squad.
It is worth mentioning that Imaan Fatima has been included in the national women’s squad for the first time. She previously represented Pakistan in the 2023 Women’s U-19 World Cup.
