ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations) has stated that two Pakistani soldiers have been martyred in a terrorist firing incident along the Pakistan-Iran border in the Sangoan area of Balochistan.
The martyrs include Sepoy Hasnain Istiaq and Sepoy Anayatullah. In a retaliatory action, security forces have pushed back the terrorists.
According to ISPR, there were already military contingents present at the Sangoan check post, and the forces responded promptly, engaging in a fierce exchange of fire.
Security forces have initiated a clearance operation in the area, and to prevent the escape of the terrorists, forces have established contact with Iranian authorities.
ISPR has emphasized that the forces are determined to thwart attempts to sabotage peace.
