Lahore High Court has issued orders for the appearance of Chairman PTI’s nephew, Hassan Niazi, in court and has sought a response from the Punjab Inspector General (IG) and Lahore’s Chief Capital City Police Officer (CCPO).
Hafeezullah Niazi, the father of Chairman PTI’s nephew Hassan Niazi, filed a petition in Lahore High Court against the unjustified detention of his son and regarding his recovery.
Justice Sultan Tanveer heard the plea of Hafeezullah Niazi, in which he requested the court to recover his son and present him in court.
The court directed that if Hassan Niazi is in police custody, then present him before the court. The court has sought a response from the Punjab IG, CCPO, and others by August 18.
It should be noted that Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and Imran Khan’s nephew Hasan Niazi was arrested two days ago from Abbottabad, and Abbottabad Police handed over Hasan Niazi to Quetta Police.
On the other hand, Lahore Police says that the accused Hasan Niazi is wanted by the Lahore Police in the Jinnah House case, a letter has been sent to the Home Department of Quetta to bring the accused to Lahore.
