At the beginning of the business day, the dollar became cheaper by one rupee and one paisa in the interbank market, bringing the value of the dollar to 279 rupees and 50 paisas.
Yesterday, the dollar was closed at 280 rupees and 51 paisas in the interbank market.

On the other hand, there was a positive start to business in the stock exchange as well. The Pakistan Stock Exchange’s 100-index saw an increase of 160 points, reaching 48,301 points.
