Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has demanded to give a level playing field to all the parties and said that the delay in the election is denial of the election.
In his speech at the Supreme Court bar ceremony, mocking the PML-N, he said that we had to show the undemocratic forces how to establish a democratic government, we had to restore the confidence of the parliament and the people.
He said that overnight all the institutions were becoming neutral, all are convinced of accountability through a single institution.
Chairman People’s Party said that the judges are very convinced of the accountability of civilians, but they are not convinced of their own accountability.
He said that in 2009, the judiciary’s restoration under public pressure led to an increase in the judges’ arrogance. In the 2013 elections, Iftikhar Chaudhry and the judiciary showed clear bias, and in the 2018 elections as well, the judiciary’s favorites were quite evident.
In his speech, Chairman People’s Party demanded the Election Commission to hold an immediate election and said that the Election Commission should announce the date and schedule of the election soon.
