Kashmir Solidarity Day is being celebrated with enthusiasm across the country, seminars, conferences and rallies have also been organized in different cities on this occasion.
While a public holiday has been announced across Pakistan today, rallies are also being organized by various political and religious parties. A rally was held in Islamabad to express solidarity with Kashmiris on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day.
The route of the rally to be taken out in Islamabad is from Ministry of Foreign Affairs to D Chowk in which caretaker federal ministers Jamal Shah, Murtaza Solangi and Aneeq Ahmed are participating. A minute’s silence will be observed when the rally arrives in front of Parliament House.
Under the leadership of Foreign Secretary Cyrus Sajjad Qazi, officers and employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have also participated. Employees of various ministries and children of Pakistan Sweet Homes also participated in the rally.
On the other hand, a Kashmir and Palestine march will be held from the State Bank to the Assembly Hall under Jamaat-e-Islami in Lahore, which will be addressed by Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Siraj ul Haq.
On this occasion, Caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi said that it is not possible for India to turn Occupied Kashmir into a graveyard. The people of Pakistan stand with Kashmiri brothers and sisters.
