The first day of the second Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh was canceled due to rain.
The second Test match of the Pakistan-Bangladesh series was to be played today at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. However, due to heavy rain in Rawalpindi since late night, the outfield remained wet, so the toss could not be played.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) issued a statement that the first day’s play is impossible.
It should be noted that in Rawalpindi, it has been raining intermittently since morning, while intermittent rain is predicted till noon on the first day of the Test match. Due to rain, the pitch of Rawalpindi Stadium has been completely covered.
