ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa left for chamber work today, during which he will write judgments.
According to the news, Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faizisa went to chamber work today, sources said that Chief Justice Qazi Faizisa will write the judgments during the chamber work.
Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa will retire on October 25 after completing his tenure.
Sources said that Justice Mansoor Ali Shah’s bench has been shifted to courtroom number one.
On the other hand, the Parliamentary Committee will consider the names of 3 senior judges for the appointment of the new Chief Justice today. The Chairman Committee will be appointed in the first session.
A panel of three senior-most judges will be asked for the Chief Justice by the Ministry of Law, a twelve-member committee will select one of the three senior judges.
It should be remembered that Chief Justice Qazi Faizzaisi as the Chief Justice of Pakistan had released the judges’ roster for the last week.
According to which 6 regular benches will hold hearings this week, the Chief Justice will head a three-member bench in courtroom number one. The bench includes Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan and Justice Shahid Bilal Hasan.
Bench Two will be headed by Justice Mansoor Ali Shah. In which Justice Ayesha Malik and Justice Aqeel Bilal Abbasi are included.
Bench 3 will consist of Justice Muneeb Akhtar and Justice Athar Manullah, while Bench 4 will include Justice Yahya Afridi, Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi and Justice Shahid Waheed. Justice Musrat Hilali and Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmed are included.
