Former President of Pakistan and senior PTI leader Dr. Arif Alvi approached the Sindh High Court seeking bail due to fears of arrest. He filed a petition for protective bail after being named in a fourth case at Wah Cantt police station.
It is worth noting that Dr. Alvi had previously secured bail in three other cases. The Sindh High Court granted him protective bail for 20 days and directed him to submit a surety bond of Rs. 50,000.
The court further stated that the matter would be referred to a constitutional bench for further hearings to review case details and related issues.
The approval of protective bail by the Sindh High Court amid Dr. Arif Alvi’s concerns of arrest marks a significant development. This decision highlights the legal and political dynamics surrounding the former president’s cases.
