Peshawar: Former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur vacated the Chief Minister’s House after formally stepping down from his post. Before his departure, he met individually with each member of the CM House staff to bid farewell and express his gratitude for their support during his tenure. After the brief ceremony, Gandapur left Peshawar for his hometown, Dera Ismail Khan.
According to the spokesperson for the CM House, Ali Amin Gandapur expressed his gratitude to the staff during the farewell meeting, and the employees extended their good wishes as he departed.
It is worth mentioning that on Wednesday, Gandapur had announced his resignation in a video message, stating that the position of Chief Minister was a trust given to him by the founder chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, and he was now returning that trust on his directive.
Speaking to the media a day earlier, Gandapur reiterated his stance, saying that he had resigned from the post of Chief Minister and would not withdraw his decision, even if requested by Imran Khan himself.
