ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad has declared PTI leader Umar Ayub a proclaimed offender in the October 4 protest case after he repeatedly failed to appear despite multiple summons. The decision was announced by ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra during the hearing of the case.
The court noted that Umar Ayub did not comply with repeated notices, leading to his declaration as a proclaimed offender. In addition, the court ordered the immediate blocking of his passport and national identity card. The court has also sought complete details of his movable and immovable properties.
According to case records, terrorism charges were registered against Umar Ayub at the Noon Police Station, where he is accused of violations committed during the October 4 protest.
