Lahore High Court has ordered to make public the record of Toshakhana from 1990 to 2001. The record of Toshakhana was presented by Section Officer Benjamin Khan in the Lahore High Court.
The Toshakhana record was presented in sealed packets, which were incomplete and in the form of a list.
Justice Asim Hafeez heard the case in the Lahore High Court, where Toshakhana Section Officer Benjamin Khan presented the record before the court.
The federal government objected to making the record public, but the court rejected the objection and ordered to make the Toshakhana record from 1990 to 2001 public.
The court also ordered to make public the names of countries and guests who were given gifts.
It should be noted that the court had given additional attorney general time to provide the record before 2001.
