Garhi Khuda Bakhsh: On the 18th death anniversary of Daughter of the East and former prime minister Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, a large number of Pakistan Peoples Party workers and supporters from across the country are arriving in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, where reception camps have been set up at various locations.
On the occasion, First Lady Aseefa Bhutto, along with Faryal Talpur, visited the mausoleum of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and offered prayers. Flowers were also laid on the graves of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Murtaza Bhutto, and Shahnawaz Bhutto.
PPP Sindh General Secretary Senator Waqar Mehdi, along with other party leaders and workers, also visited the graves of Benazir Bhutto and other members of the Bhutto family to pay their respects.
Meanwhile, the Sindh government has announced a public holiday across the province on the death anniversary of former prime minister Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Faisal Mumtaz Rathore has also declared a public holiday in Azad Kashmir today on the occasion of Benazir Bhutto’s death anniversary.
