Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Qalat district of Balochistan, resulting in the killing of four terrorists affiliated with the Indian-backed proxy group known as Fitna-ul-Hindustan. During the operation, a significant quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the possession of the militants.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces launched the operation after receiving credible intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the area. As the operation progressed, four terrorists linked to Fitna-ul-Hindustan were neutralized. These militants were reportedly involved in terrorist activities targeting security personnel and civilians.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for their successful operation in Qalat, commending their professionalism and reaffirming the government’s resolve to continue actions against terrorist elements until peace is fully restored.
Meanwhile, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori stated that the Azm-e-Istehkam campaign aimed at eliminating terrorism from the country will continue with full determination, adding that hostile elements will not be allowed to undermine national security.
