US President Donald Trump has stated that Iran’s previous leadership is no longer in place and a new leadership is emerging, while claiming that the United States is achieving significant successes in Iran.
Trump said that Iran has agreed it will never develop nuclear weapons and is now engaging in talks more seriously and rationally, as the US is now dealing with individuals who are willing to agree.
He further stated that the US is in ongoing communication with Iran and has achieved major successes, claiming that Iran’s naval and air capabilities have been destroyed and its leadership eliminated, describing it as a regime change.
Trump also claimed that Iran has sent the US a major “gift” related to oil and gas, which he described as highly valuable and linked to the Strait of Hormuz, though no further details were provided.
He added that a new leadership has emerged in Iran, and it remains to be seen how it performs, but according to him, it is moving towards making a deal.
The US President said that Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner are also involved in talks with Iran.
He also noted that Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar have played a positive role regarding Iran.
