Speaking to the media in Karachi, Ali Zaidi, a PTI leader, stated that he would leave the party on the day when PTI Chairman Imran Khan decides to leave. He emphasized that he has devoted 23 years to the party and such baseless rumors are being spread within the party.
Ali Zaidi further expressed his condemnation of the events that took place on May 9th. He stated that the PTI was not involved in those actions. He claimed that all institutions of Pakistan belong to them, and he intervened to prevent violent incidents.
The PTI leader affirmed their affiliation with the military, stating that they are from the military, and the military is with them. He condemned the attacks on state institutions. Ali Zaidi acknowledged that Imran Khan has taught them the lesson of non-violence throughout his life.
