Islamabad: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to compile records of cases and submit them to the accountability court following the Supreme Court’s decision.
Sources say that a NAB emergency meeting was held after the Supreme Court’s decision in the Tramim cases, during which consultations were held regarding implementing the court’s decisions in the trial.
According to sources, NAB has decided to compile the records of cases within two to three days and submit them to the accountability court in Islamabad, aggregating the records of all significant cases.
It is important to note that on September 15, the three-member bench of the Supreme Court, under the chairmanship of the former Chief Justice of Pakistan, had rejected NAB Tramim’s application on Imran Khan’s request.
The court declared Imran Khan’s petition against NAB amendments admissible, after which NAB cases against various politicians have been revived.
