Former federal minister and PTI leader Asad Umar has stated that if he had to do something like Sadaqat Abbasi and Usman Dar, he would have done it and both Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Shehbaz Sharif are pleased with the Supreme Court’s recent decision.
Speaking informally to the media in Islamabad, former federal minister Asad Umar said that the Supreme Court’s decision yesterday is correct, and PTI is happy with the decision, as is Shehbaz Sharif.
A journalist asked if Nawaz Sharif will return to the country, to which Asad Umar said that after this decision, it is a good question whether Nawaz Sharif will return or not. It is my innocent question to you why Shehbaz Sharif is happy after the Supreme Court’s decision. Both PTI and Shehbaz Sharif are pleased with the decision.
The journalist asked if the Chairman of PTI is inside in the Cipher case and if you have been given relief. Asad Umar replied that the allegation is that the ones who received it did not use it correctly. Our belief is that it has been used legally. The cipher comes in four persons: Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, Army Chief and DGISI, where did the Planning Minister come from? Only my name appears in the FIR.
