According to the Dealers Association, there has been a decrease of 70 to 75 rupees in the prices of A-brand and B-brand cooking oil and ghee during the span of one month.
A brand oil has become cheaper by Rs 75 per liter to Rs 525 and A brand ghee has reduced by Rs 25 to Rs 525. Similarly, B brand ghee and oil are selling at Rs 380 per liter after being cheaper by Rs 70.
On the other hand, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has predicted that the inflation rate in the country will be between 23 and 25 percent during the current financial year.
The central bank has released the economic review report for the first 6 months of the current financial year, according to which the inflation will continue to decrease in the country. Inflation rate will remain between 23 to 25 percent while inflation is expected to further decrease to 5 to 7 percent by September 2025.
