The Rawalpindi District Court has extended the interim bail of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur until July 5 in a case involving rioting on the motorway and interference in official duties.
The hearing was conducted by Additional District and Sessions Judge Raja Faisal Rashid.
During the hearing, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur once again did not appear in court. Instead, his lawyer, Advocate Muhammad Faisal Malik, represented him.
On this occasion, Ali Amin Gandapur’s lawyer submitted a request for exemption from his appearance, which the court accepted.
The court subsequently extended Ali Amin Gandapur’s interim bail until July 5.
It is noteworthy that the case against Ali Amin Gandapur for rioting at the motorway toll plaza has been registered at the Naseerabad police station.
