Islamabad: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has formed a new 3-member Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to investigate the Toshakhana case.
The purpose of this team is to further the legal action against the founding members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, and his wife Bushra Bibi.
FIA Assistant Director Wajid Hussain will oversee the JIT, which also includes Sub-Inspector Kashif Riaz and Shams Khan. The team will conduct investigations with both leaders and advance legal proceedings with the court’s assistance.
It is important to note that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are accused of violating rules and regulations in the purchase and sale of valuable gifts in the Toshakhana case. The newly formed FIA team will thoroughly investigate the matter and take significant steps for further progress in the case.
