TikTok has released its Community Guidelines Enforcement Report for the second quarter of 2025, highlighting the platform’s ongoing commitment to ensuring a safe and positive digital environment for its global users. The report details the measures taken to detect and remove content that violates its guidelines.
From April to June 2025, TikTok removed a total of 25,448,992 videos in Pakistan for violating its community guidelines. The proactive removal rate in Pakistan was recorded at 99.7 percent, while 96.2 percent of the removed videos were taken down within 24 hours of being uploaded.
Globally, the platform removed more than 189 million videos during the same period, accounting for about 0.7 percent of all content uploaded. Of these, 163,962,241 videos were removed through automated detection technologies, while 7,457,309 videos were reinstated after further review. TikTok achieved a proactive removal rate of 99.1 percent globally, with 94.4 percent of flagged content removed within 24 hours.
To maintain platform integrity, TikTok also deleted 76,991,660 fake accounts during the quarter. In addition, 25,904,708 accounts suspected to belong to users under the age of 13 were also removed.
TikTok stated that these measures aim to uphold a secure online environment and ensure strict compliance with its community standards.
