Legal proceedings have officially begun to declare Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi as a proclaimed offender. Islamabad’s Anti-Terrorism Court has initiated the process against Chief Minister Suhail Afridi, Provincial Minister Meena Afridi, Shafiullah Afridi, and several other accused individuals.
The case was heard by ATC Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain, where it was noted that an FIR had been registered at Ramna Police Station in connection with the protest held on November 26. Despite multiple summons issued by the court, the accused individuals repeatedly failed to appear, prompting the court to move forward with declaring them proclaimed offenders.
The court had earlier initiated similar proceedings in another case registered at Noon Police Station against the Chief Minister and others, and both cases are now progressing in accordance with legal requirements.
