US President Donald Trump has claimed that the United States will achieve a “complete victory” over Iran within the next two weeks and predicted that oil prices will decline afterward.
According to international media reports, Trump made the remarks during a tele-rally held in support of Republican Senator Lindsey Graham.
He stated that the United States has maintained a firm stance on Iran and claimed that a decisive outcome would become evident in the coming weeks.
Trump also suggested that such a development would lead to lower oil prices in global markets.
However, the US president did not provide details about any specific military, diplomatic, or political strategy that would lead to what he described as a “complete victory.”
Iran has not immediately issued an official response to the statement.
Energy analysts note that oil prices are influenced by multiple factors, including global supply and demand, sanctions, geopolitical tensions, and developments in the Strait of Hormuz.
Experts therefore view Trump’s comments as a political statement rather than a formal market forecast.
