Islamabad’s District and Session Court’s Chairman, belonging to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, Imran Khan, is facing a hearing in the Toosha Khana criminal case today.
Chief PTI counsel, Khawaja Haris, was absent, and Judge Humayun Dilawar stated that if the witnesses’ list is not presented today, they will conclude the right to present it.
Additional Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar is hearing the Tosha Khana criminal case against PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
When the hearing commenced, Election Commission’s lawyer, Saad Hassan, appeared in court.
PTI’s counsel, Khalid Yousuf, and Mirza Asim Baig, also appeared before the court.
The counsel informed the court that Khawaja Haris is occupied in the Supreme Court and requested a time extension until 12 o’clock.
The Election Commission’s lawyer responded that they were supposed to present the witnesses’ list in the court.
Judge Humayun Dilawar remarked that if the witnesses’ list is not presented today, they will conclude the right to present it.
Afterward, the hearing was adjourned until 12 o’clock.
