Deteriorating law and order situation and security concerns for the upcoming local government elections in Mithra have led to the imposition of Section 144 in the outskirts of Peshawar.
The district administration of Peshawar has enforced Section 144 throughout the city for a duration of 14 days. Under this order, displaying weapons and carrying firearms has been banned.
Additionally, the use of vehicles with tinted windows, double riding on motorcycles, and the use of fake number plates on motor vehicles have also been restricted.
The administration has also directed Afghan refugees to stay in their camps.
