Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that there is a sense of fear and intimidation in Karachi, Young people are being targeted and killed in Karachi.
Addressing a press conference in Mansoora, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that Karachi is the economic lifeline of Pakistan, but governments tend to overlook it.
He said that in Karachi, more than 800 young people have been targeted in the last four to five months, with 90,000 incidents reported in a year.
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman stated that 80 to 90 percent of the people in Karachi do not even report crimes, and only five to six percent of crimes are reported due to mugging. Now the entire area is under control, everyone is present on Form 47.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami said that the PTI government is the same government that brought regime change, and while in power, it had destabilized the system.
