The United Arab Emirates will hold an aerial parade of fighter jets and helicopters today in remembrance of the Houthi attack on the country. As part of the event, military aircraft and helicopters will fly across the entire country to demonstrate national unity.
Dubai Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has appealed to the public to express solidarity on Saturday at 11 a.m. by standing together during the playing of the UAE national anthem.
The aerial parade is being organized specifically to mark the attack carried out four years ago, when the Houthis targeted the United Arab Emirates with missiles. The attack claimed the lives of three people, including a Pakistani worker, Mamoor Khan, who lost his life in the incident.
According to officials, the aerial parade will begin from Abu Dhabi and will pass through all the emirates of the United Arab Emirates, symbolizing unity and paying tribute to the victims.
